INVITATION TO BID
TThe Sorsogon City Water District is inviting LWUA-accredited suppliers to participate and submit sealed bids for the supply and delivery of 2,000 units of High-End Water Meters for the SCWD Water Meter Replacement Project with an Approved Budget for the Contract of P3,300,000.00 (all taxes included).
Hereunder are the minimum technical specifications of the High-End Water Meters to be supplied:

Issuance of bid documents will be on October 14 – 16, 2009. Deadline for the purchase of bid documents which will cost P10,000.00 (non-refundable) will be on October 16, 2009.
Deadline for the submission of sealed bids together with the following requirements:
- Bidder’s Bond
- Valid Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit/DTI Registration
- Financial Statement (latest, stamped “received” by the BIR)
- Income Tax Return (2008)
- Company Profile
- Validity
- Terms
- Sample water meter, preferably a cut-away sample, together with the Manufacturer’s Technical Brochures
- Manufacturer’s Quality System Certification ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 4064, EEC Approval and Pattern of Approval Certification
- Product Certification from LWUA or any National Water Agency/Corporation for the water meter to be supplied
- Sole and exclusive distributorship certification issued to the supplier by issued to the Supplier by the Manufacturer duly certified and updated
will be on October 22, 2009 at 1:00 PM.
Opening of bids, evaluation and post qualification will be on October 22 , 2009 at 1:01 PM.
The contract to be bid shall be governed by the provisions of R.A. No. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. The SCWD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accepts only such offers as may be considered most reasonable and advantageous to the District.
The Sorsogon City Water District assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bids.
